Computational
Fluid Dynamics
Computational Fluid
Dynamics (CFD) is a new technology for modelling and analysing the gas
flow pattern inside a precipitator. This is a very advanced method for
such analysis.
Why Use
Computational Fluid Dynamics for Precipitator Gas Distribution Modelling?
The anemometer test is grossly
dependant on the experience of the individual who is carrying out the
test as well as the one who analyses it. CFD is free from all these
limitations and human errors . CFD analysis is undertaken using our
modern advanced- performance computer workstation completely outside
your plant, thus ensuring there are no interruptions to your production
schedule.
Until recently CFD software
was rarely tried for this application because of the cost and its usage
has been limited to major heat transfer applications. Our associates
in India, with considerable experience in GD tests, have invested in
the necessary computing resources and personnel to make CFD available
at an economical price.
